Complete a work quarter by assigning resources to projects while minimizing waste. 

  1. Resources and Projects will be added to your workload by your manager.
  2. click on a resource to select it, then on a project to assign it. Alternatively, select a project and then a resource. Same outcome.

Your performance is rated primarily on your ProjectCompletionOnTimeRate and ResourceUtilizationRate (reduces if resources at full capacity are not assigned to projects).

Every tick/second, resources assigned to a project will:

  • contribute their capabilities (the bright squares). If the project has the matching capability as a requirement, it will reduce the remaining project requirements and be closer to completion.  If the resource has an unneeded capability, this is added to the project's accumulated waste.
  • reduce their current capacity ( indicated in UI as currentCapacity/maxCapacity). Resource capacity is replenished when not assigned to a project. If a Resource's  current capacity is reduced to zero, the resource is returned to the resource pool and has their maxCapacity reduced to zero. The resource is exhausted.


Resources will recover current capacity every tick/second while not assigned to a project. 

Every completed project will contribute its fulfilled requirement towards the player's Success Stars, and add its waste towards your ongoing waste tracker (top right). 


Waste can be managed with a waste management project, which accepts ANY capability towards its requirements. Waste management projects contribute no Success Stars.


Feature, not a bug: if soft-locked with full resource pool and project workload but zero useful resource, delete a resource to make room.
